ENVIRONMENTALGuardian Chemicals has completed the necessary product development and formal registration process required for Green Seal certification. Our objective is to provide our customers with an environmentally responsible option that meets standards set by Green Seal. We are proud to display our Green Seal certification on all our E Series products. We have always taken a proactive approach to develop products that pose minimal environmental risk and support our commitment to the environment with our registration to ISO 14001:2004 (Environmental Management System) effective July 18, 2006. Our decision to seek Green Seal certification for a number of products and certification to ISO 14001:2004 give our customers the confidence and assurance that can only be provided by external environmental standards and auditing systems. HEALTH & SAFETYGuardian employs between 50 and 55 people making good health and safety essential. It is because of this belief that we applied and received certification as of May 12, 2009 for OHSAS 18001:2007 as a way of showing that we take our duties seriously. OHSAS 18001 is an international standard giving requirements related to health and safety management systems. Combining OHSAS 18001 along with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 ensures that we are moving forward in the right direction with the benefit of a third party helping and overlooking our progress annually. We pride ourselves on implementing stringent health and safety codes within our company. This significant accreditation would not have been possible without the commitment of our employees and it is a reflection of the sheer hard work, determination and dedication of Guardian staff. It also demonstrates our commitment to gear up for the exciting years ahead. In addition, it helps us demonstrate that our business operates to recognized and accepted high standards of safety in order to ensure legal and regulatory compliance. |
